Usage and Limits
Understand how usage is measured, how it relates to your plan, and what happens when you reach your included allowance.
When you use chat, agents, Deep Research, and other features, your usage is metered based on the underlying model provider costs. More expensive models consume your allowance faster than lightweight ones. This page explains how usage works and how to stay within your plan.
For practical tips on getting more out of your allowance, see Usage Tips.
How usage is measured
Usage reflects the cost of the models you run. The key factors are:
- Which model you choose. Frontier models cost more per message than lightweight ones.
- How much context is sent. Long conversations, large attachments, and retrieved knowledge all increase the tokens processed on each message.
- Which features you use. Tools such as Deep Research, Knowledge Hub retrieval, and integrations add to the work the model does.
Your plan includes an allowance, and usage is metered against it.
Plans and included usage
Odeus offers Free, Pro, Pro+, Business, and Enterprise plans. Each plan includes a usage allowance, and seats are billed per user. Your admin manages the plan and seats for your workspace.
What happens when you reach your allowance
If your workspace has extra usage (pay-as-you-go overage) enabled, you can keep working past your included allowance and the additional usage is billed to your workspace. If overage is not enabled, your admin can upgrade the plan or enable extra usage to continue.
Overage and seat limits are managed by your workspace admin in billing settings. If you regularly run into limits, ask your admin to enable extra usage or move to a higher plan.
Increasing your limits
If you regularly reach your allowance, your admin can:
- Upgrade to a higher plan with more included usage.
- Enable extra usage so your workspace can keep using premium models beyond the included allowance.
Workflows
Workflow runs are metered as part of your workspace usage. Keep workflows efficient by using lightweight models for simple steps and adding conditions early to skip branches that don't apply. See Usage Tips for more.
