    Upload Files from Computer

Files can be uploaded directly from your computer and added to a chat or agent as a knowledge source. Supported types include PDF, DOC/DOCX, XLS/XLSX, CSV, PPT/PPTX, TXT, MD, HTML, and images, up to 50 MB per file.

    Use Files from Connectors

Files from connected tools — for example SharePoint, OneDrive, or Google Drive via their connectors — can be browsed and read live. The connector queries the source on demand; the file is not bulk-imported.

    Sync a Google Drive Folder

A Google Drive folder can be synced into the Knowledge Hub so its contents are kept up to date automatically. This is the only sync source today — SharePoint, OneDrive, and Dropbox are not synced (SharePoint/OneDrive are browse-only via the Microsoft 365 connector).

Available inKnowledge Hub (agents, chat @-mention)
    ProcessingEmbedding search
    SyncAutomatic, ongoing background sync

    See Google Drive Folder Sync.

    Folders

Knowledge Folders are now called Folders. Find them in the Library → Folders.

A folder is a managed collection of files in the Knowledge Hub that you can structure, share, and reuse across agents.

Available inAgent actions, @ in chat
    ProcessingEmbedding search
    PermissionsOwner and shared users
    SyncNone (unless Drive-synced)

    Connector Actions

Knowledge can also be retrieved on demand through connector actions (Slack, Notion, Jira, HubSpot, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and more), or through a remote MCP server you connect.

Available inAgent actions, @ in chat
    ProcessingAPI call
    PermissionsInherited from the connection
SyncLive — queried on every request
